Book Launch & Roundtable Discussion on Industrial Property Rights

The Industrial Property Conference was held in Szeged, organized by the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright.

During the conference - primarily addressing patent attorneys - the book “Intellectual Property in the Academic Sphere”, published by the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, was presented at the national level. During the roundtable discussion, Anikó Grad-Gyenge, editor of the book, shared insights on its key objectives and the means to achieve them, while the other participants discussed the main findings of the chapters they had authored.

Our research group member, Márta Görög, highlighted the defining characteristics of the evolving cooperation between universities and market actors, particularly in light of the rise of emerging technologies. She also reflected on the causes of this paradigm shift and its most significant consequences affecting technology management.
