New containers have moved to the SZTE Science Park - but what are they good for?!
The energy conversion equipment installed at the energy innovation test station will produce hydrogen and then synthetic fuels using renewable energy.
After refining the produced petrol and kerosene, Audi will test its engines and examine the effects as it will initially mix 2-3% to the currently used gasoline, and then in the more distant future, depending on the result of the upscaling of the equipment, it can be 10-20%.
The market potential of the test station also lies in the fact that several production routes can be compared under relatively standard conditions, thus it is possible to examine and demonstrate which process is more efficient from an energetic, technical or economic point of view.
