Regarding the great interest and satisfying the demand coming from several directions, we have prepared the English extract of the White Paper entitled "Carbon Dioxide Storage and Utilization (CCS/CCU) Options in Hungary" prepared in the frames of the National Laboratory for Renewable Energy (Megújuló Energiák Nemzeti Laboratórium, MENL), which is available at the following link: https://greennovation.hu/whitepaper.pdf
The extract contains a brief overview of the White Paper, summarizing important topics such as the role of CCU/S technologies in achieving climate neutrality, the policy background, an overview of CCU/S technologies and their domestic relevance, an overview and analysis of Hungarian emitters, as well as the presentation of possible domestic CCU/S use cases and business cases. In addition, policy and regulatory proposals, as well as proposals supporting the spread of CCU/S in Hungary, are available in the extract.
