Green and digital transition conference in Szeged

We attended the international conference “Green and digital transition – 2025” organized by the Faculty of Economics of the University of Szeged.

Two colleagues from the Green Technology Readiness Research Group held presentations at the conference:

1️⃣ Mapping carbon management policies
– Presenting how EU and national regulations, policies, strategies and support systems are evolving to shape the future of carbon management.

2️⃣ Techno-economic analysis for a sustainable future
– Analysing how the gap between technological development and economic realities can be bridged to turn green innovations into competitive and viable solutions.

The three-day event (June 18–20) focused not only on economic and business perspectives but also gave special attention to legal and political relevance, as well as to societal and human aspects of the green and digital transition.

Thank you to the organizers for the invitation and the fresh professional dialogue – let's shape a climate-neutral tomorrow together!
