Green light for connectivity: collaboration opportunities between industry and research! I.

On April 9-10, in Szeged, within the framework of the National Laboratory of Renewable Energy (NRLE) project, we held an event to exchange ideas and think together about the possibilities of green innovation.

On the first day of the event, Prof. Dr. Zoltán Kónya, Vice Rector for Science and Innovation of the University of Szeged, and Dr. Csaba Janáky, founding director of NRLE, welcomed the participants.

The focus of the event was mapping and identifying cooperation opportunities between industry and research. In addition to the consortium partners of the project, representatives of major industrial actors were also present, including companies such as MOL Group, Messer Hungarogáz Kft. and Robert Bosch Kft. We organized three panel discussions to create the opportunity to think together. During the first one, we listened to and discussed the needs of the industrial actors, later the panel discussions took place in parallel on the topics of hydrogen and carbon dioxide utilization with active participation of the audience.

At the event, the project's research groups had the opportunity to share the professional results of the past six months, to communicate what kind of scientific and industrial cooperation they would need, and what kind of cooperation they can contribute to and how.

We also grab this opportunity to thank all colleagues for their active and cooperative participation in our event!
