Here we are with the report of the second day of our event organized in Szeged on April 9-10 by the National Laboratory of Renewable Energy (MENL) project.
During the event, we paid special attention to strengthening the communication between industry and science that had started earlier (including during the preparation of the White Paper entitled "Carbon Dioxide Storage and Utilization (CCS/CCU) Options in Hungary"), as well as between the staff of the National Laboratories too. In order to do so, we organized two presentations on the topic of science communication strategies, and during the entire event we encouraged dialogue between the participants in order to achieve common thinking. In addition, the co-National Laboratories, namely the Climate Change Multidisciplinary National Laboratory, the Cooperative Technologies National Laboratory and the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory, were introduced.
After that, we moved the location of the event to the SZTE Science Park. We visited the SZTE Energy Innovation Test Station, where our colleagues showed our guests around and introduced the recently installed P2G ("power-to-gas", electrolysis technologies that produce gas from electricity) and P2L ("power-to-liquid", production of liquid synthetic fuel) containers.
