At the two-day event, the research groups of the ten consortium partners of the NLRE project presented their recent achievements and examples of their industrial utilization.
The professional reports discussed the operation of the pilot plants, data from pilot systems, and how research is connected to real industrial needs.
Roundtable discussions with inspiring presentations:
- “From component development to system integration”: what engineering and technological steps are needed to turn laboratory prototypes into real operating systems, and how processes can be optimized for efficiency and reliability.
- “Integrating hydrogen and carbon dioxide technologies into energy systems”: how hydrogen and CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and storage) solutions can be integrated into the domestic and European energy grid, and what economic and legal incentives support this process.
The meeting highlighted that combining research work and industrial cooperation is essential for the success of the green transition. The joint exchanges of ideas and the sharing of partner experiences further enriched the project.
