Krisztina Kádár’s study explores how relationship management can support the national-level governance of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCU/S) technologies.
The paper highlights tools such as government relations, public relations (PR) and corporate social responsibility, public–private partnerships, stakeholder and community relationship management – all considered from the perspective of long-term trust-based cooperation, transparent communication, and adaptive coordination.
The study is based on an interdisciplinary literature review and illustrates with real-world examples (e.g. Norway’s Longship project) how these approaches can be translated into practice to foster CCU/S implementation.
