Exciting progress in carbon capture and utilization (CCU) technologies!
The Green Catalysis Group at the Greennovation Center, at University of Szeged (SZTE) has successfully scaled up synthetic liquid fuel production at the Energy Innovation Test Station. Moving from just a few mL/day to L/day in our 5-reactor system has been a major challenge, but we did it!
From catalyst preparation and characterization to reactor design and scale-up, we are pushing the boundaries of sustainable fuel production. This milestone at TRL (Technology Readiness Level) 4-5 proves that carbon capture and utilization is not just a concept—it’s happening now!
A huge shoutout to the entire team for making this a reality! The lessons learned pave the way for further scale-up and industrial application.
Innovation. Sustainability. The future of energy is here.
