In Budapest, at the 5th Hungarian Legal Book Salon, a roundtable discussion was held in which the opportunities and risks of digital technology were examined through the lens of competitiveness and law.

The participants of the roundtable discussion presented and analysed, from various perspectives, the impacts of the expansion and dominant character of digital technologies on competitiveness, as well as the need for a paradigm shift in legal thinking and regulation. Márta Görög, member of our Green Technology Readiness Research Group, also highlighted – among other things – the new intellectual property challenges generated by digital technologies.
